There was a time I loved getting a breakfast sandwich from Sheetz. One I didn't have to make the sandwich and two it tasted really good.
Over the past few months, I've been disappointed with their breakfast sandwiches. This is not isolated to just one store either or I would just complain directly to that store (I've done that before when I have been unhappy with something.)
I recently got a shmuffin, took a bite and realized that the muffin was not toasted very well. Un-toasted muffins are quite nasty tasting, and I love all kinds of breads toasted or not. Muffins need to be toasted, and toasted thoroughly. I experienced the same thing with the shmagel I got there today, the bagel was not toasted very well. Bagels are fine when not toasted, but I specifically hit the yes on the screen that asked if I wanted it toasted or not. Maybe they're rushing to get this done or something, but the toaster should be setup to toast!
Plus the cheese wasn't melted very well either, which is also kind of nasty. Cheese needs to be either melted or not, especially on a breakfast sandwich (for me). Could have swore they always put the sandwiches in their microwave to help that out.
If these crappy breakfast sandwiches continue, I'll be heading somewhere else. Shape up Sheetz.
