I've questioned this before (only in my mind), but is an American Sub - Bologna, Cooked Salami, and American Cheese purely a Lancaster County thing? All my life that is what I called an American Sub, but yet I can't find this sub at Subway, Sheetz, Quizno's, Wawa (apparently Wawa has an american sub I can't tell what's on it though), and even a few Pizza shops around here. On top of that, the only picture I could find with those ingredients was from a place in Ohio called Joey's Subs, and they call it an assorted sub. Just typing in American Sub on the internet gave me multiple answers and none of which are right in my world.
I mean this is a serious question I'm asking here. I have no idea. I've grown up loving this combination of meats and cheese on a roll. But no one else seems to have this.
