Yeah. I really didn't watch what I ate last week. Kind of just shoved a lot of food into my mouth. Whoops. I have to say, after a year of watching what I eat and trying to lose weight it gets really old. And I know I have to get past that feeling to continue down the scale. February was a bust, but I know I can turn things around and shed those last few pounds I want to.
I actually worked out a little more than usual last week. I got an extra day of cardio in and got my one day of yoga in. This next week I think I'm skipping the weight lifting for a few days, then I need to change the routine up. Think I have plateaued in that department.
I just washed my truck last week, so of course we get some snow. Plus the fact that I could see my yard again and was going to pick up the dog droppings, but now I can't since they're covered with snow again.
Looks like those plants are dead little guy, way to kill them.
Yes, we have had some warm weather here the past couple days. It's nice, I will admit that much. BUT it's still winter, and it's going to get cold again and be cold for like another month or so. So this warm weather sucks, it's only good for melting the mountains of snow in my yard and revealing all the dog poop I have to pick up. Even though I can really pick it up yet since the poop is all soggy and nasty. I'll have to wait until it freezes again, but then it will be too cold out to be outside. Grrrrrr.
Don't really care for gnomes with hipster facial hair. Someone needs to drop that gnome.

Well, since I'm never satisfied with what I am currently doing and like to change things up. I am done the with the Sweet Ass Links and I am replacing it with a daily rant or nothing at all. Depends on my mood. Plus I was sick of searching for links. That's hard. For the bloggers that do that out there, you go on with your bad self. That's no longer for me. Although I may continue to add a tutorial link, I actually enjoy looking for those.
Down a little this past week. Can't complain, especially after eating at two restaurants last week. I know one meal shouldn't mess up my weight loss, but it can for me. Especially since I rarely go out to eat, and normally the portions are way more than what I'm use to anymore, AND I can't just eat half the plate. I have to finish the whole thing.
Food was good though, had one of the chili's lunch specials. Half a turkey sandwich with fries and a bowl of soup, the chicken enchilada soup (which is a meal itself) and I am happy I tried the soup, it was good. Then on Saturday we ate at Scooters in Lititz. Had a cheeseburger and half dozen wings, with fries and beer. I use to be able to eat a burger like that and still be hungry, I was stuffed. Damn good though.
Workouts were again the same, although I tweaked my foot while during a quarter mile sprint on the treadmill last week. So looks like I'm off the treadmill for a little while until I heal. Maybe a few weeks just to be safe.
Total win right there. Thought for sure I was going up again this week. Damn Super Bowl, I ate and drank way more than I normally do. Really that was the only day I can say I went above and beyond with the caloric intake. Pizza Hut pizza, wings I made, nachos, and beer. Lots and lots of beer. Other than that I kept the food I ate pretty healthy on my part.
Finally got a yoga workout in this week, even though I didn't want to and was throwing a fit while doing it. Cardio and weights again for the other 2 work out days. I like to run a mile on the treadmill, walk a quarter of a mile, then run another half, walk a little more then this week I ran a quarter of a mile at 7 on the treadmill. Man that was a bit rough. I have to start a new weight lifting routine, been doing kind of the same thing for a few months. I think changing up the routine will help me out a little.
I still can't complain about where I am at with my weight, but I'd like to get down into the 180s and that's all on me.
Damn, this again. Yo-yo each week. Gotta get back on a serious track again. For this I blame Kim for ordering too many pizzas and then forcing me to eat many slices, and drink more beer than normal. All your fault Kim!!!
Same old, same old with the workout. Guess I need to change that up a little.
