It took us a while to get the "new" Domino's pizza, well because I'm trying to lose weight and pizza is one of those bottomless pit meals for me. I can just eat and eat pizza, keep going back even though I'm full. Last night however, we finally tried it out.
It's not new. The sauce is newish, I like that, but the dough is not and the cheese is not. The pizza tastes the same to me other than the butter-garlic crust (which is good). The dough tastes the same though. Overall it's the same pizza with some upgrades. I'm kind of happy about that, I thought for sure it was going to taste like Papa John's.
You didn't fool me Domino's.

I never really liked their sauce - but I only experienced my distaste once (Alexandria, VA). The sauce was way too sweet. Awful experience.
I never thought Domino's had sweet sauce, Papa John's on the other hand that was too sweet for me.
I like all pizza, I've only had bad pizza once, and that's because the dough wasn't cooked all the way through. I just love pizza, plus everyone makes it a little different which is fine with me everyonce in a while.
But Domino's saying their pizza is new, is a total lie. damn marketing.
