Ugh.

A few years ago, I finally took on my heavy set body and got rid of the most of the blub.

Well, I've let myself get back up there. Not like I haven't tried to get the weight off, I mean I averaged over like 17,000 steps a day for like 12 weeks over the late spring/early summer. I did not drop a pound then. So I relaxed a little with working out, I was not going all out like I did over the summer. I kept working out, kept my weight at the same weight. But this past month I have gained way too much. Just not really caring what I eat, but yet not doing that everyday. Just sucks I got the bad genes and have to watch everything I eat.

So it will be time to stop all of this and drop the weight. 20lbs would be great. Ugh, it is just a rough process, I did not think I would put myself through this again. But oh well, I do not have as much to lose this time around. I will try to give a weekly update here on my blog, it will give me something to post and hopefully keep me motivated to lose the weight.

Really? I mean, how could you not budget for snow removal in Pennsylvania? It snows here every year, maybe not a lot of snow like we got last weekend, but snow does fall here. And the snow has to be removed, so why would you not budget for this? Makes sense to budget for snow removal. It blows my mind how this does not happen. Anyone who has an answer for me that would be great.

And it is not like they do a very good job of removing the snow either, they wait until there is a couple of inches on the ground and then decide to plow some of the streets. Which lets the snow get packed down by the vehicles driving around. Then maybe after the snow is done, they go out and plow again. This leaves slush everywhere, which instead of making another pass, they let harden into ice, since it is cold. Good job. I shoveled my little driveway three times, apart from the melting snow from the garage roof, it was dry the next day. I can make sense of snow removal, why can't you?

It's almost Christmas

But it really doesn't feel like it this year.

Yeah, the tree, lights, and other random decorations are up, the presents are bought, wrapped. Maybe it's because I'm just sitting at home and I am not getting a break from anything?

When you in school, Christmas break was great, I had like a week break in the "middle" of the school year. In college, I had like 5 weeks off, that ruled. When I was working at first it was just a few days, but then that turned into a week off too. I had something to look forward too. Now, I'm just at home already. Maybe after Aaron really knows what Christmas is, I'll be a little more excited, but that will be year.

I graduated college. December 17, 2000.

I have been done school for nearly a decade. Hard to believe, I don't feel that far removed from that time, but I am.

It's hard to listen to someone say how much they hate school, because that was the best time really. A care free time really. What did I have to do, oh no go to class. Such a pain!!!

I miss it, but I'm not saying I'd go back. Things are better now.

Ruby Tuesday

The chain restaurant, which we have been going to for years. Always loved the food there, especially the french fries. They had some spices on them that just made them better than any other frozen chain restaurant fries. Also it's something more than the fast food restaurant, you expect a higher quality fry at one of these sit down places.

Well that was the case at Ruby Tuesday for quite some time. At one point my son did not eat fries, but he ate them at Ruby Tuesday. But this has changed like a year and a half ago, the fries now have gone to the shoestring fries you find at McDonalds.


Had I wanted McDonald's fries, I would have went there instead. I have no idea if this is the case for all the locations, but the two locations I visit, this change has occurred. The worst part is, we went there last night and the fries tasted like old McDonald fries. You know the ones, they have been sitting there since the lunch time rush underneath that light and the workers were "too busy" to throw them out and make fresh ones. It is a disappointment, fries not fresh with your meal. I'm not one to complain there, what's the point? Are they going to bring me a fresh plate after I finished my burger? Probably not, they will just be slightly newer fries that found their way to floor before they found their way to my plate. No, I will complain here, and shoot an email to their complaint department. I do not really want anything in return except for them to not let this happen again. Next time, I will just go to McDonalds for some old fries.

I love using Photoshop to make funny images.

Like the one you'll see below. The first image is the original, which came via One for the Other Thumb post. I don't have any idea where they got it, maybe you can ask them.



LaMarr Woodley likes to do that kick when he gets a sack. Great job by the photographer snapping that shot, wasn't too hard to cut out either. I should know, I cut it out using my laptop, no mouse help, all pointer finger.

I normally do Steelers photoshops for the Steely McGnome Predicts blog, and this week they play the Browns so I decided to use the Woodley mid-air kick image to be decapitating Brady Quinn. I find it funny, I'm sure the hundreds of Browns fans won't. But their dumb and live in Cleveland.

Top Selling Designs this Year

Not a clear cut winner this year, unlike last year when my I am an Asshole design just outsold everything else much to my surprise. It barely sold this year, but oh well life goes on.

Three designs this year have sold fairly well, especially on my Zazzle shop. Gnome Beer Drinking Champion, There is no Family in Fantasy Football, and The Gingers are coming for you. I find the Gingers shirt extremely funny, and unless you're a ginger you should too, hell even if you're a ginger you should.

This has been selling well.
