Wow, you'd like to think that not working would equal more blog posts. But you're wrong, well at least in my case. Haven't been inspired with my shops lately, I'll get into it more in the coming weeks I'm sure. As of right now, no. I've been busy with house crap, getting ready for a party this weekend and what not. So look forward to October, where I will post more. Hopefully.
Until then, check out Get Fresh Designs on Zazzle and CafePress.
Thanks

Awesome Image of the Week

Awesome...er..uh..creep image of the week. This is one of those primordial dwarfs on a pony/small horse of sorts. That horse is HUGE to that tiny, tiny person.

New Design

This one has been brewing in my head for quite some time now, it finally finished and I got it out. If anyone knows their Simpson's, then you will know it has roots there. But you can go find that yourself.
I have this design posted on CafePress and Zazzle, so follow the links below to those pages.

Not good guys
Wow, I have never be jobless not by choice before. It pretty much sucks.
I mean, I use to not just get a job when in college and the farm work was done, but I was in college and didn't really have any bills, plus I used that time to study...er...watch tv and get fat was more like.
Just sucks, I liked that job too. I got to do all sorts of things in my field and a lot of it recently. Photo shoots, video shoots, editing video, some web design, work in a lot of the Adobe collection. I mean I got a lot of experience, but I wasn't looking to switch jobs anytime soon, well for one not like there is much in the Lancaster area in my field. 3 weeks vacation, every major holiday off (that made it like 4+ weeks of vacation!!). So now I'm back at the starting gate with the race not starting anytime soon, and even then it will be the trials before the race. Ugh. Do.Not.Want.
Only positives out of this, I get unemployment for a while, plus some severance, I can put more energy into my shop, and most importantly spend more time with my son.
So on that note: I have a shop at CafePress and Zazzle.
Not forcing you to buy anything, but if you like something please do, and if you don't have the money to buy something, pass the word along about my shop, that's just as good in my mind.

This weeks awesome image, Mountains Taco Salad. Doritos in place of lettuce, topped with lots of cheese. I submitted this to This is Why You are Fat, we'll see if it gets posted there, don't worry I'll let you know if it does.

Nothing to see here
Well, I've been busy, just haven't made time to do posts or hell even do new designs for my shops.
I've been trying to add more items to my Zazzle shop, that's about it. But really they're nothing new, just designs I've had on CafePress that I'm now moving to Zazzle.
Go here for Zazzle Shop and here for the CafePress Shop. Thanks.
What really is giving me apathy is the House hunting/selling. It was funny rearranging my schedule for showings at first, but that has past. Especially since no offers have come our way, it's only been 3 weeks, and I didn't expect an offer anytime soon. But it would be nice to get one, even a lowball one, just to get one.
Not being at home for an hour in the evenings kind of sucks, because first we clean up the house, then leave, then when we get back it's time for the wee one to go to bed, and I just don't have a lot of wind down time, not that I need it, I have just come to like the veg-time.
Hopefully this process ends sooner than later. We knew this going into it, but I just wanted to vent.

Awesome Image of the Week

This was from the fall trip last year. This picture was taken at 3:52 AM the night we got up there. The last picture I took was at 5:02 AM, I think I went to bed soon after that, maybe 5:30, needless to say the next day was a slow start, but it was business as usual, drinking and eating.

Once Upon a Concert
Ah, the college years. I saw a lot of different concerts doing this period. This is the time in your life to go see concerts, what do you have the next day? Class??? That's laughable, it's easier to go to a concert when you have a class to attend, as opposed to work, that's my take anyhow. Yours may be different.

Stone Temple Pilots was the show. Touring in support of their 3rd album, Tiny Music...Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop. Awesome show. This was the tour to see STP. Why? Weiland was still all drugged up on heroin before his many stints in rehab. Plus, this was their 3rd album, one of the best times to see a band. They have lots of material to pick from, but they are not leaving out much either.
I remember Scott Weiland was wearing the outfit from Lady Picture Show video, and the balloons hanging on the ceiling that would fall during Big Bang Baby at the end of the show. STP rocked the house that night. Too bad Scott got deeper into the drugs and went off on solo work, they were really coming together at that point.
Nothing too weird happen at this show, like my first time. It was just a great show at the Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State. It just rocked. I wish I could find the tour archive, if anyone out there knows of a place I can find this information, please let me know.
The opening band was Local H. If you don't know Local H, they are a 2 piece band, before it was all popular. Best part about them, there was this guy, who crouched behind the drum set and would randomly come out and play the tambourine and sing back up. My friend commented that the band didn't want to pay health insurance for this guy, but still wanted him around so he had to hide behind the drums for most of the show.
Serious, good times.

Awesome Image of the Week

With all things mountains for the Awesome Images of September, I bring you the Beer Can Pyramid, made by me. This is the amount of beer consumed when we arrived in the Spring of 2005, staying up late and drinking. Awesome.
