Apparently the answer to that question is, Yes. Guess what, the different versions do not really match either. Well, they still look the same, but the size is off which sucks donkey balls. I would have never known of the same exact font being different on two computers because the version of the font was different.
About 4 years ago while creating a form for work, that would be used by multiple people running Microsoft Office products, I picked out a font that was loaded on the base Windows and Office at the time. Since my computer has various fonts downloaded and added from different sources. So in other words, I did the right thing only to have it come back and bite me in the ass 4 years down the road. Since my position kind of went away and I accepted a different position (more graphics/images than forms/word docs), others in the department, and still me, would be doing the forms.
So when I went to show them the forms, I noticed the heading font looked off. I brushed it aside, check it out later. Well I did, guess what it's the same font, different fucking versions, I mean honestly what kind of an asshole has the same font with different versions and they don't match up?? I'm looking in your direction Microsoft, since your name is on the copyright. Fuckheads, I hate you.
The font in question: Gautami.
Version I have: 1.21
Version others have: 5.01
